Directions to Woodworth Chapel at Tougaloo College.

Tougaloo College is located about a mile west of the
intersection of I-55 North and County Line Road, in the
general neighborhood of North Park Mall and the Hilton
Hotel. More precisely it is behind Target Discount Store,
and across N State Street and the railroad tracks.

1a) Going north on I-55 (from Jackson), take exit 103,
   and turn left at the SECOND stoplight.

1b) Going south (from Canton) on I-55, take exit 103
   and turn right at the FIRST stoplight.

2) In either case you are on County Line Road heading west.
   At the foot of the hill (a short distance), County Line
   Road deadends into N State Street at a stoplight.

3) Go left on N State Street, and at the next stoplight,
   go right, crossing the railroad tracks.

4) After a long curve to the right you will come to a major
   3-way intersection. Do NOT stop but turn left (the
   other two approaches to the intersection DO stop.

5) A short distance later turn right into the campus
   at the security gate. The guard may ask your
   destination. This may seem to be an inconvenience,
   but remember that they are there to help visitors
   as well as students.

6a) On campus, go straight past the first road that
   forks to the left. You will see the chapel on the
   right. There is a parking lot on the right; you
   can park there and walk to the back of the chapel
   (there are some handicap parking spaces just beyond
   the back of the chapel).

6b) There is handicap access to the sanctuary by elevator
   inside the back entrance and just to the right (base-
   ment level). Restrooms are on the hall leading around
   to the left to the stairs up to the sanctuary.

7) Alternatively you may continue ahead and around to the
   right and park on the street and walk to the front
   of the chapel.

8) When you leave, continue on the oneway road around the
   edge of the campus, to the exit (where you came in),
   where there is a stoplight. Go left and backtrack to
   N State Street and I-55
